Wow, here we are, nearly at the end of our second week in Greece with three more weeks to go- and I don’t want to leave.
I’ve fallen in love with this beautiful country, and specifically the island of Syros that we’ve been lucky enough to stay on.
I love the people, the food, the beaches, the weather, just everything to be honest! (Actually, there are these HUGE grasshopper things which I do not particularly like).
Other than that, I am loving my time here. That could also be down to the fact that we are helping to look after 12 adorable King Charles Cavaliers through Workaway. Oh. My. Gosh. They are so cute. Honestly I was a cat person before I met Adam and now I’m one of those people that stops and points out every dog we see in the street.
Anyway, I’m enjoying it so much here and pretending to myself that I don’t have a scary and exciting new job to go back to. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait to go home but I’m not sure I’m ready to stop travelling quite yet!
This will be a post mainly of pictures as I really cannot describe with words how beautiful it is here (cliché sorry)!
Luckily before getting the ferry over to Syros we managed to fit in a day in Athens, which we loved.
We ate amazing food and wandered around exploring. Then we got up early the next day to catch the ferry over to the Greek island of Syros!
I honestly could live here forever!
